Modern Family Apartment – Baku Azerbaijan

What is a Modern Family Apartment?

The 4-room residential project developed by Interiome Project covers approximately 140 m² and has been redesigned to suit the needs of a family with two children. The client’s existing furniture and personal tastes were integrated into the project, creating a practical and personalized home environment.

Considering that the family will reside here year-round, all technical systems have been adapted accordingly. To avoid monotony in the interiors, subtle tonal variations and elegant details were used; as a result, a home design with a calm and welcoming atmosphere was formed.

Geometric and oval forms were combined during the furniture selection, while mirrors increased the sense of depth in narrow areas. The lighting design subtly brings out the spatial accents, giving the apartment both an elegant and functional character — an environment where two children can grow up comfortably.

Apartment Features

Dynamic Exhibition Spaces

In modern home design, every space is conceived as a "living exhibition." The planning targets not just functional needs but a dynamic experience where art, design, and daily life converge. Every corner is curated like a small "gallery" while preserving its uniqueness; aesthetics, functionality, and comfort combine to offer the user a distinct atmosphere. This approach creates visual and functional integrity during both the concept and house project stages.

Functional Elegance

Functionality is just as important as aesthetics for every living space. In our projects, space organization, furniture selection, and storage solutions are built to simplify daily life. As a result, elegance and comfort coexist seamlessly. This principle is consistently applied across all stages of the house project — from the initial concept to the 4-room house blueprints and working documents.

Harmony of Materials and Textures

The materials and textures used in the interior directly shape the atmosphere of the space. Natural stone, wood, metal, and fabric are selected in a balanced way to create harmony and integrity. These layers of texture, enhanced by lighting, reveal the "soul" of the space and increase its uniqueness. The selections and combinations are clearly displayed in the planning, visualization, and 4-room house drawings to ensure the best result in terms of both aesthetics and long-term durability.

Kids’ Room

We create a functional scenario in the kids’ rooms that combines play, education, and rest: safety features (rounded corners, fixed shelves) and proper lighting facilitate daily use, keeping the room tidy. This home design is a house project that responds to the lifestyle of a family with two children. The functional planning, built on the 4-room house blueprints, minimizes moving elements and creates a safe, comfortable environment for each child: a clear workspace for study, an open zone for play, and a quiet corner for sleep.

Living Room + Hallway

In the living room design, combining the living area with the hallway strengthens the apartment’s visual and functional integrity: thanks to the open-plan solution, movement lines become clearer, circulation becomes easier, and daily use becomes more flexible. Reducing intersecting walls expands viewing angles, allowing natural light to penetrate deep from the hallway into the living zone. Furniture placement is planned according to zones: seating, transit, and storage areas are designed without obstructing each other, creating comfort for both social gatherings and daily routines.

Unobstructed view and smooth circulation: The space appears larger due to the open flow.
Natural light: Light from the window illuminates the hallway, creating a warm and welcoming aura.
Acoustic comfort: Thanks to sound-absorbing materials, the transition area is quieter and more comfortable.

Bedroom

The bedroom is a private sanctuary designed for peace and rest. The bedroom design is built on a calm color palette, textures, and carefully selected details that reduce daily stress. As an integral part of the general house project, it combines comfortable sleep routines, fresh air circulation, and tidy storage systems. In the context of the 4-room house project, the bedroom layout works in harmony with other spaces: placement away from noise sources, privacy, stable lighting, and a convenient transition line are ensured. The goal is to create a durable environment that renews the body and mind through a balance of elegance and comfort.

Soft tones and natural textures create psychological comfort and improve sleep quality.
Cross-ventilation windows; positioning the headboard away from cold drafts.
Layering in textiles, contrast in textures, and a simple decor line complete the space without creating visual weight.
